Infab Corporation Offers a Free Web-Based Apron Tracking System - SMART TRACK

Camarillo, California, April 2, 2014 – Infab Corporation is pleased to introduce a free web-based system that will allow users to manage, track, and document the inspections of their Radiation Protection Garments. SMART TRACK generates reports based on a user’s garment inspection history. Users will utilize these reports to give details on inspections during audits from authoritative bodies while also having a much better understanding of their current inventory status. By inputting protective garment inventories into SMART TRACK, users will instantly have an extremely user-friendly way to organize and streamline the inspection process.

"The SMART TRACK Apron Inventory system has revolutionized the way lead apron quality control testing and inventory management is performed at our facility. It is a superior, comprehensive, and user-friendly product. Individual bar codes make tracking aprons quick and easy. It is the best system I have had the opportunity to work with."
— Doug Beardsall, MRT (R) CTIC, Senior Technologist QC, Safety, and Education, Royal Victoria Regional Health Center, Barrie, Ontario

SMART TRACK is a completely free and secure web-based system that requires no software. Simply login and register to begin tracking your aprons. SMART TRACK can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection or by downloading the mobile app from the Apple App Store. SMART TRACK is offered with an optional retrofitting kit that takes advantage of 2d barcode technology to allow users to view/inspect specific aprons instantly.

“Tracking lead aprons and making sure that they have been inspected is a challenge for any large radiology facility. Of the many apron-tracking systems I reviewed, I knew that the 'SMART TRACK' Apron inventory system would work for our facility and meet new regulatory standards set by The Joint Commission…The system is user friendly. All I know is that anyone who has the burden of tracking aprons needs to get “Smart” about tracking their apron inventory”.
