RCIS Review Course Among Program Offerings for Cath Lab Professionals at NCVH 2010
Cath lab professionals preparing to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification exam will want to attend the three-day RCIS Review Course offered during the upcoming New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH) conference, June 2 – 5, New Orleans, La.
The 12-hour concentrated review will be led by Andrea Davis, BA, RCIS; Jeff Davis, RCIS, RRT; Todd Ginapp, EMT-P; and Marsha Holton, BS, CCRN, RCIS. The course will cover a wide array of topics that may be seen on the exam, and is designed to be an interactive symposium. “The course is designed to reinforce the knowledge and procedures they will be tested on,” said Holton, “including some they might not have seen since they have been out of school.”
The course is spread out during NCVH, offering attendees the opportunity to attend the conference’s morning general sessions followed by three afternoons of the review course – Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, June 2, 3 and 5.
An additional NCVH educational offering that will be of interest to cath lab professionals will be the Cath Lab Professionals Session on Friday, June 4.
