Cardiac Cath Regionals: Education Awaits!

-

Picture waking up early on Saturday morning. That may not sound appealing, but Cardiac Cath 2003 offers something worth denying yourself that extra snooze. Beyond the bagels, beyond the fruit, pastries, coffee, free lunch, dessert and soft drinks, Cardiac Cath 2003 offers education relevant to your life in the cath lab. It offers the chance to interact with companies, representatives, and even colleagues you may have previously only eyeballed from afar.

We also promise:

       • Our speakers will keep you interested and informed on topics like drug-eluting stents, emerging technologies, and adjunctive pharmacology.

        • You’ll have a chance to speak your mind and share the experiences and practices of your cath lab, as well as hear the experiences of others in your area.

       • You don’t need to pack PJs. The symposium is one day only.

Your valuable time. The symposium begins at 8am and concludes by 4:30pm, when you’ll hand in your evaluations and receive your certificates of credit. At that time, you can fully re-enter your weekend, confident in the fact that you’ve not only spent your time in a productive manner, but had an enjoyable day. What’s better than leaving a symposium feeling smarter than when you arrived?

Chatting with friendly, knowledgeable people (“networking”). There are two aspects to becoming well-educated in your field. Cardiac Cath 2003 acknowledges the value of each following component, and encourages attendees to experience both:

I. Formal lectures and training
       • Case Studies
       • Adjunctive Pharmacology in PCI
       • Coated Stents
       • Emerging Technologies
       • Cerebral Vascular Interventions
       • Team Dynamics

II. Informal contact with others in your field who share their own information, experiences and questions with you (and vice versa).
       a. Talking with vendors.
Amersham Health, Boston Scientific, Centocor, Cordis, GE, Medex, Merit Medical, PamLab, and RADI have all committed to enhancing the value of Cardiac Cath 2003 by sending representatives. They’re excited, they’re sending their best, and they’re on their toes. Just try and trip these people up — impossible!

       b. Talking with fellow professionals.
Who ever heard of a symposium encouraging chitchat? Cardiac Cath 2003 wishes to encourage interpersonal relations at designated times. Breaks and lunch are a perfect time to commingle. We avoid the post-lunch sleepy hour with a rousing discussion between you and your fellow attendees on issues of practice.

Inexpensive Cost. $30 ($25 if you’re a member of the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals [SICP]).
