February 2006 News Update of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals (SICP)

VOLUME: 14 PUBLICATION DATE: Feb 01 2006
Issue Number:
2 (February 2006)

All membership renewal invoices have been mailed or emailed. Please return your membership renewal by February 28, 2006 to minimize membership interruption. You may renew online at www.sicp.com for faster service. You will need your membership ID and password, and if you are not sure of this information, please contact Candace Callahan, at membership@sicp.com for assistance.

The SICP launched the redesigned www.sicp.com last month. Sicp.com is now more attractive, user-friendly and informative. The redesigned site will become of value to all SICP members. Please visit our website for details regarding SICP membership, review courses and other SICP initiatives. The SICP hopes that this new site will aid all SICP members on a professional basis. If you have questions or suggestions regarding the site, please email Nicole Shore at director@sicp.com.

As an added incentive to our regional chapters and to further implement our membership growth initiative, SICP is announcing the Chapter Membership Retention campaign. The chapter that has the highest percentage of members renew their membership through February 28, 2006, will receive a new website or website redesign courtesy of the SICP. SICP will announce the winner in March. In the event of a tie, where two or more chapters have the same percentage of renewals, the winner will be decided on how many new members join during the campaign period.

The SICP Call for Nominations is now online!
Please visit www.sicp.com for more information and to make your nomination for Board of Directors.

SICP Photo Contest
Catch your lab in action! The photo contest has been extended through the renewal deadline of February 28th. Please submit electronic pictures of your lab personnel in action. The winning facility will obtain a free membership for 2006 for all its cardiac cath lab professionals. To enter, please email three or more electronic pictures of your cardiac cath lab as a JPEG attachment to membership@sicp.com. Files should be clearly labeled with your facility™s name. Only facilities with four or more SICP members in their cath lab will be eligible to win. Remember, anyone recognizable in the photos will have to sign a photo release form before their image can be used on our website. Also, when submitting your photos, please list all personnel eligible for SICP membership. Some of the photos that are not selected for the launch will be used on a monthly rotation as well as on some of the inner pages of the site. Start snapping!
