VOLUME: 16 PUBLICATION DATE: Feb 01 2008
Issue Number:
2

The Illinois Chapter of the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals held their winter meeting December 4th, 2007 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg, IL. The topic of discussion was “PCI & Drug-Eluting Stent Safety,” presented by Fred Leya, MD. Dr. Leya is Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab of Loyola University in Maywood, IL. SICP members were honored to have Dr. Leya present at the meeting and it was a great success. We would like to thank Cordis Cardiac & Vascular Institute (CCVI) for its sponsorship of the meeting. Representative Geno Calcagno was very cordial and helpful to our guests and members. Thanks to Mr. Calcagno, we were able to have a well-organized meeting at a wonderful location.
