George Fichter, BS, CVT, RCIS, MS, FSICP
I am a ten-year veteran of the field of invasive cardiology and an alumnus of the Geneva College Cardiovascular Technology Program (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Clinical site: Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia). Prior to that, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology from Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania. Over the last ten years I have furthered my education by achieving a graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Science. I have worked at four different hospital facilities, varying from well-established tertiary care facilities to community hospital cardiovascular start-up programs. I have experience with management as well as everyday staffing of the cardiac cath lab.
