What is the size of your cath lab facility and number of staff members?
We currently have six procedure rooms, one of which is a dedicated electrophysiology (EPS) lab and another lab utilized for add-on EPS procedures.

How does the TandemHeart work?
TandemHeart is a percutaneous ventricular assist device offering active circulatory support. It draws oxygenated blood from the left atrium and uses a pump, housed outside the body, to return blood back into the femoral arterial system.

How do the TAXUS Express2 and Liberté stent platforms differ?
The TAXUS Liberté stent was designed specifically for drug delivery. It has a uniform cell architecture and a crossing profile smaller than the crossing profile of the Express2 platform.

After reading “The CARE Bill: Regulating minimum education and credentialing standards for allied health professionals involved in radiology procedures,” in the November 2006 issue of Cath Lab Digest, we would like to explain some of the reasons why the Hawaii Society of Radiologic Technologists (HSRT) has come out against the CARE Bill.
