Turn-around time is defined as the amount of time elapsing between catheter disengagement from one procedure and completion of patient preparation for the next procedure in the same catheterization laboratory. Components of case cost are: labor, devices, anti-thrombotic drugs, contrast and medical/surgical supplies. Single-vessel and multi-vessel interventions are defined according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines.
